Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in America. Since the mid 80s, Angela Evelyn has worked on film and television. She's received several awards, among them sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Bassett was raised by her aunt in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Her birthplace was and raised within New York New York. Bassett's mother had split from her father when she was approximately five. She and her younger sister then moved from the city of St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett when she was in high school, saw John Steinbeck's stage play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she made the decision to pursue acting. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). She dated Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Graduate of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grade), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her main parts, Ramonda, in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
